Kudos to the Oakland, California Public Libraries for providing free summer lunches to children and teens in need. Ten Oakland Public Libraries united with the Alameda County Food Bank to provide weekday meals for children 18 and younger. About 250 volunteers pitched in to help. Kids could take classes, surf the Internet, hang out, or read. How awesome is that?
