When is a book cover not a book cover?
Nine days and counting until my debut teen romance, Spell Check, is released from Astraea Press. Long before I had the final cover art, a trio of young women from Alpha Chi Omega, held a photo shoot. I needed a picture to represent Evie, my protagonist. Major thanks to Kenzi, Emilee, and Kaitlin, who tracked down Evie's Perfectly Plum nail polish, and a camera similar to the one Evie is afraid to use, and captured the shot. You can see the result on my book page. Thanks, too, to local teen, Carolyn C. and her friends for picking the excerpt.
